Delegates will consist of the
President, another officer, a member of the Board of Directors, and three
members of the general assembly who are certified members of the Association of
Surgical Technologists.
The members of the general
assembly will be chosen by the Officers and Board of Directors. They will be
notified in mid- December and requested to sign a delegate agreement. The
selected members must attend all business meetings, the candidates’ forum, and vote
on issues and candidates. They will also meet with the State Assembly President
to discuss any issues pertaining to these meetings.
The at-large delegates will
be reimbursed within two weeks following the national conference. It is the
delegate’s responsibility to contact the President during the conference.
Six alternates, consisting of
One Board Member and five general assembly members, will also be selected.
The officer and the member of
the Board of Directors will present a conference report at the fall board
meeting.
